“Einklang” is intended to be a community songbook that everyone enjoys singing from. Older Christians will find their treasures in it, the younger ones will rediscover old treasures because they come in a new guise, i.e. with new melodies. When choosing songs, community gatherings and home groups are mainly in mind. When it comes to the song lyrics, particular emphasis was placed on a careful biblical foundation. The songbook includes over 400 songs, usually with four-part notation and guitar fingerings. The selection includes many tried and tested older songs as well as new, some as yet unpublished songs. Alternative melodies and notations were written for many older and well-known songs. With the publication we hope that when we sing our hearts will be widened and our eyes will be lifted up.
