He had a brilliant career, a life of wealth and open doors in India's upper social class ahead of him. But then Bakht Singh came to faith in Jesus Christ in a dramatic way. A life of voluntary poverty and self-denial followed.
Bakht Singh (1903-2000) became a man of the Bible and prayer. He wanted to let God guide him in all matters and learned to trust his promises. As a result, he became a blessing to many around the world. Through his ministry, an amazing evangelism and church movement arose in India with hundreds of new New Testament-style churches.
