Although Georg Müller (1805–1898) became world-famous for his orphanage work, his work was not limited to that. The fact that he supported missionaries all over the world, enabled the distribution of Bibles and the work of schools, and spent 17 years in his advanced years as a "world traveler of God" is one of the areas of his ministry that is also of great importance.

The author, a long-time friend, accompanies him on his long journey through life, which shows what God's grace is capable of: a godless deceiver and thief became a man of faith who has left traces of blessing all over the world.
